premiered on 4th of august 2023 at Paul Gerhardt Kirche Schöneberg, Berlin a piece written especially for the room of this church. the instrumentation consists of church organ, a philicorda organ, two casio keyboards, a tam tam, prerecorded sound material and live electronics. the piece makes use of a 6 speaker set up. the instruments are scattered around the room functioning as local sources of sound. some of them are being moved around. and by moving around in the space myself in order to perform often quite minimal actions on the respective instruments the attention of the spectator wanders through the room with me. the multi-speaker set up in combination with the instruments make it possible to have a variety of acoustic situations. with these means I explore the possibilities of how a whole space can become a protagonist in a music performance and be perceived in various ways.
